Massage for a good cause

It's never too early or too late if we want do something. The success secret is "JUST DO IT"

All this while, we have the thinking of contributing our massage and therapy knowledge and experiences for a good cause. For example, charity massage.


Some how it didn't realized because we were waiting for circumstances to happen.


Finally, we realized that there will never be the best time for doing anything. Sometimes, we just have to follow our heart.



The "Beacon Angel" was mobilized again on 16 Aug. This time we have a charity massage.


Part of the proceeding will be donated to one of the charity organisation. In fact, during that day, we still haven't finalized which organisation should we donate to.



We offered a very "value for money massage package" for our friends.
They enjoyed a very good quality, natural and therapuetic massage oil.
On top of that, they are allowed to bring another friend for massage for free. Some people said it's too good to be true.



My answer was "sometimes you just have to TRUST..."



On that day, we transform our training room into cozy, relaxing massage room within minutes.



The massage session was overwhelming such that our angel felt short handed.


On top of giving them the unique "Revitalizing Massage", the customers were given advice on why they have stiff shoulder and what are preventive step they can take.



Even though the event was suppose to be 2.5 hours. Some of the customers felt so good that they decided to stay on after the massage and get more health tips from our angels.



At the end of the day, the customers were happily leaving the place. The angels were exhausted sitting on the chair. However, we were very happy because we put our knowledge and hands into something meaningful.



We were not sure what name to put as donor. Finally, we decided "Beacon Angel", that's how the name come about.


After short discussion, we decided to donate the money to Children Cancer Foundation.


I guess everybody heart has a soft part for the children.


While donating the money to the foundation, we were told that we can get more advice on how to doi it better. That is a very encouraging sign from the foundation.

Success is easy, just think win-win-win for everybody.
The customers benefited from a good value massage with a good cause.
The angels benefited from gaining more experience while doing a good deed.
The charity organisation sure can benefit from the donation and could possibly getting a new source of donations.

What happened on 8-8-08?

It's was national day eve and everybody was in the mood. We were asked to provide a Meridian 'Beauty' Massage Workshop in East Spring Primary School.

Of course, we were delighted to provide our expertise to the people who had worked hard and stressed out sometimes.... Yes, the teachers and the parents. :-)

Initially we were expecting about 20 participants. However, just the day before the workshop, we were told that the intrested participants has doubled!! Wow! It's a very encouraging surprise.

We mobilized our Beacon "Angels" to help out that day so that the teachers and the parents get the most value out of the 1.5 hour session...

Teachers were taught the ways of relieve headache and migraine. I guess they need that quite often when dealing with the energetic future generation huh..

Our instructor even provided them a "uplifting", refreshing face massage and the audience were "wow" after seeing how a simple massage movement can make a face look firmer and brighter.

The participants were mesmerized by our instructor humorous and lifely way of imparting the simple but useful technique.

When it comes to hands-on session, the Beacon "Angels" were busy showing off their skill and happily interacted with the fun loving audiance.


It was really a fun session that not only the participants learn the useful knowledge. Our instructor also learnt the way of catching attention from the hyper active students (in this case, the teachers)... "Student, can I have the silent clap?"...

At the end of the session, we really like to thank the coordinator for the event and the lifely audiance. We can see strong bonding in this school just like us.

What happened

Who are the lucky winners?

Many people asked me how was the lucky draw event. Why we are doing this?


Well, it's basically our way of giving lots of value to the participants at the same time creating awareness about the 169 Lifestyle series.

Anyway, it is not just about lucky draw.

It was an enrichment workshop to impart good knowledge to take care and maintain our skin. The turn out was very, very, very overwhelming. These sessions was conducted by our experienced beauty therapist, Miss Judy Tan. With her more than 10 years experience in essential oil and beauty line, the participants were getting great tips on skin care.



Our participants get to try our amazing 3 in 1 Perfect Essential Oil Bath. The instant result was phenomenal that all the participants who tried it will keep on saying

169 is crowd puller in Singapore Movie Fiesta 2008

After so much talking about the Singapore Movie Fiesta and preparation. The five days event was a interesting one with visitors from all walks of life and other countries.



We were told by the organiser that we are one of the top crowd puller. Needless to say, good product, good service and provide massive value to all the visitors is the essence.

We believe in giving lots of value to the visitors and customers. Lots of goodies bag were given out and many freebie were given. Many visitors were amazed by our free lucky draw and some can't believe what they heard.

"Too good to be true" was in their mind until they have the $200 worth goodie bag in their hands and they still can't believe they got such a good deal. Anyway, it's suppose to be a fiesta. Everybody should have fun!

Guess what? The 169 series is making its wave now.
We were invited to particiapte in Singapore Movie Fiesta which will be held from 4th to 8th June at Vivo City.

This is one of the largest congregation of movie superhero characters, blockbuster and movie fans.

This is the Biggest Movie event of the year with a potential to hit international and local media impression, aims to provide an annual platform for our brand to connect with tens of thousands of movie goers.

The event explores opportunities to create excitement for our product through association with the blockbuster movies of the year while creating brand affinity, loyalty & sales amongst profession & young "Trend Chasers"

Some statistics, VivoCity is the highest traffic shopping mall, has an average footfall of 180,000 daily.
4.2 million shoppers set foot on VivoCity in Dec 2007.
The event dates enjoys the advantage of "Guarantee crowd" of the Great Singapore Sales and School Holiday.

This is the venue we want to hold our product showcase, press conference and promotional ground.

What is this 169 craze all about?

Recently I worked with a group of dynamic and fun businessman and entreprenuer to be. They called themselves Syngergy team. Ya, now I am part of them. :-)

Anyway, they were asking me to video the instant face lifting effect and natural radiance that the 169+19 moisturizer mist can bring to a person. The video is meant for the exhition.

Well, why not?? To my amazement, this 169+19 is really good! It not only face lifting, give natural radiance to the face but also help to remove eye bag...

Come to think about it, who wants to carry two eye bags to meet friends or customers? Who wants to have a saggy face to meet their potential customers or love ones?

Anyway, picture says a thousand words. I guess video says more ;-)

Watch carefully at the beginning of the video, his left eye bag is slightly bigger then right eye bag. At 35 secs time, you can see his left eye bag is smaller then his right eye bag. Of course, his left side of the face is less chubby than the right side too.



This amazing!!

Initially, I thought it might be just one off case. I quickly look at the other video I took on another guy in the evening. That was his first time really using the product. (We have to teach him while recording the video).
He tried it on the right side and we see reduction in the eye bag and wrinkle. After tried on both side, both of his eye bag were also reduced within a minute!!
